Domestic relocation
The Domestic Relocation website has information on transferring to a new TI location to fill a new or open position. The site has information on TI's policy for paying certain travel and/or moving expenses incurred by employees transferred to job openings classified as company request (CR), employee request (ER), or short-term assignment. In addition, the site includes a list of contacts and quick links to additional information on U.S. cities, schools and domestic per diem rates. The International Assignments or Transfer life event webpage has additional information on this type of move.

LifeWorks
LifeWorks* offers practical advice when you are planning a move, whether it is around the block or across country. From the LifeWorks website, select "Moving and Relocation" from the Life Passages drop-down menu. Resources include a moving checklist, booklets on moving and buying your first home, and numerous articles on topics such as making connections in a new community, helping your children adjust to a new school and finding resources in a new community. Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Work-Life Resources
TI offers a free employee assistance program through Magellan that can help you through changes or issues at any stage of your life, whether they be work-related or personal. The EAP provides free counseling sessions using a solution-oriented therapy approach to problem resolution and a comprehensive online library of work-life resources including articles, tools, webinars/podcasts, calculators, self-assessments and more. Work-Life topics include childcare, senior care, daily needs, education, adoption and special needs. You can find additional information on the EAP* website or by calling TI HR Connect at 888-660-1411 and selecting the option for employee assistance programs, then option 1 to speak to someone in person. You can also call Magellan directly at 800-888-CARE (2273).

Update medical/dental plans
Moving might affect your eligibility for medical and dental plans. To verify your eligibility or update your coverage, visit NetBenefits*. Select the Health & Insurance tab, then select the "What to do when" link and the "Address Change" life event link. To update your elections by phone or to speak to someone about the changes you may need to make to your TI health benefits coverage, call the TI Benefit Center through TI HR Connect at 888-660-1411 and select option 1.

You have 30 calendar days from the move to update your benefits coverage. If you are no longer eligible for your current plan and fail to make a new election within 30 days, you will be assigned to the default plans and will not be able to change your elections until the next open enrollment period.

Tax deductions (W-4)
If you moved to or from a location with state or local income taxes, you might need to make changes to your W-4. This can be done at myInfolink.ti.com > Career & Benefits > Payroll > W-4 Tax Information*. There is also a Federal Tax Estimator* tool available online to help you estimate the impact of changes in W-4 deductions on your take-home paycheck amount. If you have signed up for MyPay, you can model your W-4 changes using the MyPay what-if tool available on the MyPay* page. For questions, contact the TI HR Service Center through TI HR Connect at 888-660-1411 and select the option for HR and Payroll.
